Notes on Dordt College: Chapel

I arrived back on the Dordt Campus this afternoon. Just one and half hours later–before I had even unpacked into my dorm–I was attending a meeting for the worship leaders on campus. This year I’ll be the chapel coordinator. I’m excited and a little nervous. Already at the meeting I noticed a certain focus on pragmatism among the other leaders–perhaps merely an evidence of their greater familiarity with their jobs–whereas I continue to feel the unadulterated passion for reviving Dordt Campus spiritually guiding all my moves in this sphere. We’ll see how this journey unfolds–I’m looking forward to being a part of the spiritual center of my campus in a new and more responsible fashion. Pray for me.
